How to play

NightShift is a short, replayable browser game about triaging fictional overnight radio calls.

  1. Read the caller transcript and the extra context note.
  2. Choose a priority level from 1 to 4.
  3. Choose the most appropriate response team.
  4. Confirm dispatch, read the debrief, then move to the next call.
  5. Review your final summary and replay if you want a cleaner shift.

Priority guide

  • Priority 1: direct immediate danger to life.
  • Priority 2: severe risk that still needs a fast intervention.
  • Priority 3: urgent problem, but not the first red-alert queue.
  • Priority 4: low-risk welfare or follow-up attention.

Accessibility and comfort

  • Designed for touch screens first, but it works on desktop.
  • High-contrast UI with large tap targets.
  • No account, no email capture, no personal data form.
  • Optional lightweight sound cue can be muted.

What this is not

This experience is not operational training. It deliberately simplifies and dramatizes decision-making for play. Please do not use it as real-world guidance.
